Bourdain’s death was a devastating hit to numerous who knew him. The social symbol, unequaled moving figure, and the culinary wizard was a source of solidarity for his fans.
After his death, many paid their tributes, including well known figures like Barack Obama.
The previous US president recognized the amount Bourdain educated about food while also uniting individuals and making them bolder while confronting the unknown.
Anthony will be remembered fondly.
Today, we take a look at a letter shared by a friend of Tony. It shows the man’s wit mind, humanity, and large heart.
Bourdain worked with Josh Homme (the lead in Queens of the Stone Age) on “Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations.” The melodic frontman made the signature tune for the show, and he likewise showed up in the intro scene.
In the unforgettable scene, the two legends honor a moment for the film “Creature House”. In the scene, a guitar is crushed into pieces.
Bourdain takes Homme’s acoustic guitar and remnants it, then, returned what survives from it and says “sorry.”
Bourdain’s Gets Into Trouble With A Little Girl
The scene, however, affected Homme’s little girl, Camille. She was a couple of years old when the scene circulated.
Nonetheless, she saw a promotion for the show and didn’t like how Daddy’s friend had dealt with him on the show. She didn’t see the value in that Bourdain had destroyed her dad’s guitar.
In her naivety, she thought the entire thing was genuine and it really upsets her.
The Apology Letter
When Tony found out about it, he sat down to compose an expression of apology letter to the young lady to help her in general.
In the letter, Bourdain clarified that it was not real. He told the young lady that he and Hommes were “simply messing about.” In the letter, he clarified further:
“In real life, Daddy would have been very angry were I to do such a thing – and as he is a large man, I strongly suspect I would not still be here to write this letter.”
“I like your Daddy very much. We are friends.”
From that point, he proceeds to clarify how the two ordinarily remain standing for one another. He tells the young lady of an “obnoxious superfan” who gets up in Daddy’s face and Daddy managed it rapidly.
Bourdain said to Hommes that they ought to have each other’s backs.
It is this letter that Homme shared to the world by posting it onto the Queens of the Stone Age’s account and went with a message saying the amount he missed Tony.

Tony, I miss you bad.
Once, Camille was so mad at you. She was defending me. & So were you. Defending me. As we had done & would do many times over the years for each other. & you, with great care, such empathy, such sweetness… you apologized to a little girl who was defending her daddy.

Really, Bourdain was unique.
He was never inaccessible for anybody, not even to an honest little girl. But then, he remained as a focusing light to many.
The overflowing of affection he keeps on getting from the individuals who treasures him is obvious evidence of this reality.
