Viral video from Sunday evening shows one especially exhausted Bronxite sitting back with a “man on a wire” endeavor to cross an unused tram track on wobbly, tight wooden bars held together by pipe tape.
The man — who is wearing just socks, fighter briefs, a face veil and winter cap — inches his way over the stopgap balance bar, which rapidly falls under his weight, as per recordings shared via web-based media.
“Individuals was rooting for him, saying ‘You can do it,'” observer Tyree Bowles disclosed to The Post.
“Everyone was recording. I needed to post mine genuine quick, similar to, damn this is insane. Just in New York is the place where this occurs.”
Bowles, a New York City local who currently lives in Richmond, Virginia, said the trick occurred around early afternoon at the Fordham Road metro stop in the Bronx.
“New York is something different,” he said.
That is my old neighborhood, however I mean, individuals out there do the most abnormal things throughout everyday life, man.”
