Donald Trump Calls For Coca Cola Boycott Over New Law

Previous US president Donald Trump has encouraged allies to blacklist Major League Baseball (MLB), Delta Air Lines and Coca-Cola after they went against Georgia’s new voting law.

In spite of Trump beforehand reprimanding ‘cancel culture’, he approached his fans to stay away from the big establishments, asserting that baseball is losing ‘tremendous numbers of fans.’

The most recent issue is down to The Election Integrity Act, which spent a month ago in the state. It implies that new principles around voter identification could be acquired, and prohibits food and drink provision nearby voting stations.

Coca Cola supervisor James Quincy said it wasn’t right, while Delta CEO Ed Bastian marked it ‘unacceptable’.

Rob Manfred, MLB Commissioner, affirmed that the All-Star Game would be moved from Atlanta, Georgia, to protest the new law.

He said: “I have decided that the best way to demonstrate our values as a sport is by relocating this year’s All-Star Game and MLB draft. Major League Baseball fundamentally supports voting rights for all Americans and opposes restrictions to the ballot box.”

Accordingly, Trump said: “Now they leave Atlanta with their All-Star Game because they are afraid of the Radical Left Democrats who do not want voter ID, which is desperately needed, to have anything to do with our elections.”

“Boycott baseball and all of the woke companies that are interfering with Free and Fair Elections. Are you listening Coke, Delta and all!”

Be that as it may, the ex-president has recently been vocal about his perspectives towards ‘cancel culture’, which he once called a ‘left-wing cultural revolution”.

Talking at an assembly in Mount Rushmore in July 2020, he said: “Our nation is witnessing a merciless campaign to wipe out our history, defame our heroes, erase our values and indoctrinate our children.”

“Angry mobs are trying to tear down statues of our founders, deface our most sacred memorials and unleash a wave of violent crime in our cities.”

“They think the American people are weak and soft and submissive, but no; the American people are strong and proud and they will not allow our country and all of its values, history and culture to be taken from them.”

He proceeded: “Make no mistake: this left-wing cultural revolution is designed to overthrow the American revolution.”

“Our children are taught in school to hate their own country and believe that the men and women who built it were not heroes but were villains. The radical view of American history is a web of lies.”
